Stuck on the road anywhere in the UAE? We reach you in 30 minutes or less โ Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman or Sharjah. Towing, battery jump start, flat tyre, fuel delivery, lockout & accident recovery โ one call away.
A recovery service asks for something most businesses don't: trust before proof. You're calling a stranger to touch your car โ sometimes your only car, sometimes with your family sitting in it. So before we ask for the call, here's what we stand on.
Our trucks carry the reflective markings and flatbed specifications RTA sets for recovery vehicles, and every driver holds an RTA-endorsed licence for the vehicle class they operate โ not an unmarked van pulled off a random job.
The price we quote on WhatsApp is the price on the invoice. We've built our reputation on drivers never feeling "upsold" mid-recovery.
Our controllers are on the ground in the UAE, not a distant call centre reading a map they've never driven. They know your area.
Collected across Google, Facebook, and direct customer feedback, after real jobs โ not incentivised.
Car recovery in the UAE covers seven distinct situations โ towing, battery jump start, flat tyre change, fuel delivery, car lockout, accident recovery and desert extraction โ and the right response depends on getting the correct vehicle and technician for each one, not just the nearest truck. Our teams cover Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman with a 20-30 minute average response, a fixed price confirmed on WhatsApp before any truck is dispatched, and an RTA-standard fleet operating under UAE traffic regulations. This page covers what each service actually involves, what genuinely affects the price, how to tell a licensed operator from a risky one, and the UAE-specific situations โ extreme heat, mall basement parking, gated communities, highway breakdowns โ that a generic roadside page won't mention.
Last reviewed 18 September 2026. Prices are typical ranges; the exact fixed price is confirmed on the call.
"Car recovery" gets used as a catch-all term, but it's really seven different jobs wearing one name. A dead battery, a flat tyre, an empty tank, a locked door, a car that won't move at all, a vehicle stuck in sand, and a car involved in an accident each need a different technician, different equipment, and โ in more than one case โ a different truck entirely. A company that sends the same generic van to every call, regardless of what actually happened, is the single biggest reason UAE drivers end up waiting longer or paying for a second visit.
The UAE adds its own layer of complexity on top of that. Summer heat above 45ยฐC degrades car batteries far faster than in cooler climates, so what looks like "just a flat battery" is disproportionately common here compared to markets where recovery-service content is usually written. Underground mall parking in towers like Dubai Mall or Mall of the Emirates has height and turning-radius restrictions that rule out certain trucks. Gated villa communities โ Arabian Ranches, Emirates Hills, Al Reef โ require security check-in before a vehicle can even reach the door. And RTA sets specific technical standards for any vehicle towing on Dubai's public roads, standards a genuinely licensed operator can point to and an unmarked one can't.
Response time also varies genuinely by situation, not just by traffic. A battery jump start or lockout is typically the fastest call to resolve once a technician arrives โ 10 to 20 minutes on site in most cases โ because the equipment and process are self-contained. A flat tyre change usually takes 15 to 25 minutes depending on wheel type and accessibility. Towing takes longer overall once loading, securing and the drive to the destination are factored in, and desert or accident recoveries can extend further depending on terrain, vehicle position and whether police coordination is required. None of that changes our 20-30 minute average arrival target โ it just means the total time from call to "problem solved" depends on which of the seven services you actually need.
This page works through all of that in order: what each of the seven recovery services actually involves, what genuinely moves the price up or down, which vehicles need special handling, how to tell a properly licensed operator from a risky one, when a DIY fix is genuinely fine versus when it isn't, what's different about recovery in each of the four emirates we cover, and the UAE-specific situations a generic roadside-assistance article simply won't mention. If you already know exactly what you need, our services page lists direct links to each dedicated service page.
Typical fixed prices in Dubai are AED 100โ150 for a battery jump start or emergency fuel delivery, AED 100โ200 for a flat tyre change, AED 150โ250 for a car lockout, AED 150โ400 for local car towing, AED 200โ500 for accident recovery and AED 300โ700 for desert recovery. The exact price is confirmed on WhatsApp before any truck is dispatched, with no night or weekend surcharge.
Message +971 56 452 8505 on WhatsApp at any hour โ it is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including UAE public holidays. Share your live location and the dispatcher will confirm a fixed price and send the nearest correctly equipped truck. Calling is not available โ WhatsApp only.
The average arrival time is 20 to 30 minutes across all four emirates. Once the technician arrives, a jump start or lockout usually takes 10 to 20 minutes and a tyre change 15 to 25 minutes; towing takes longer because of loading and the drive to your chosen destination.
Switch on your hazard lights, steer smoothly to the hard shoulder or the nearest exit if it is safe, and stay inside the vehicle with your seatbelt fastened if you are close to live traffic. Note the nearest exit number or metro station, then call for recovery โ waiting on the frontage road is safer than standing beside the highway.
A flatbed carries the whole vehicle on a flat deck with no wheels touching the road, and is required for all-wheel-drive, 4x4, electric, hybrid and low-clearance cars. A wheel-lift raises only one axle and suits standard front- or rear-wheel-drive sedans in neutral, and is often faster in tight city streets.
Yes. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman are covered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week under the same fixed-price structure as Dubai, and a single quote can cover a tow between any two of the four emirates.
A summary of what happens on each type of call โ full breakdowns, pricing tables and step-by-step process live on each dedicated service page.
Towing is not one job โ a standard sedan can usually be safely wheel-lifted, but AWD vehicles, most EVs and hybrids, and anything with very low ground clearance need a flatbed instead, because towing an all-wheel-drive car on its wheels can burn out the transfer case within a few kilometres. Our dispatcher asks your exact make and model before a truck leaves the yard specifically to make this call correctly, rather than sending whichever truck happens to be closest.
Good to know: towing a modern AWD car incorrectly is often more expensive than the tow itself, since the drivetrain repair can run into thousands of dirhams.
Full guide for this service โA professional jump start uses a voltage-stabilised jump pack rather than basic cables, and always includes a load test โ a two-minute check that tells you whether the battery is simply flat or genuinely failing. This matters more in the UAE than almost anywhere else, because sustained summer heat above 45ยฐC accelerates the internal chemical breakdown that ages a battery, often cutting its usable life from the 4-5 years it would last in a cooler climate down to 18-30 months here.
Good to know: a jump start doesn't recharge your battery โ the alternator does that as you drive, so a five-minute drive afterward usually isn't enough.
Full guide for this service โWhether a flat gets repaired or replaced depends on where the damage is, not how bad it looks. A puncture in the tread area is usually a safe plug-and-patch repair; the same-sized hole in the sidewall is not repairable, because the sidewall flexes constantly under load and a patch there can fail without warning at speed. Run-flat tyres, common on many BMW, Mercedes and MINI models, are generally not repairable once punctured regardless of location.
Good to know: driving even a short distance on a fully flat tyre can shred the sidewall and damage the wheel rim, turning a simple tyre job into a wheel repair too.
Full guide for this service โWe bring a measured amount of petrol or diesel, generally enough to reach the nearest station safely, delivered directly to a stopped vehicle on a highway shoulder, in a tunnel, or on a quiet residential street. Diesel needs extra care: running a diesel tank completely dry lets air into the fuel line and injectors, and simply adding fuel back in won't restart the engine โ our technicians bleed the fuel system properly, which petrol engines never require.
Good to know: fuel gauges can be less accurate than drivers assume, especially in older vehicles with a worn sender unit โ treat the warning light as real, not as a margin.
Full guide for this service โLocked keys inside get resolved with non-destructive entry tools designed for your specific lock type โ mechanical or keyless โ so there's no forced window and no scratched frame. Modern keyless-entry and smart-key systems need a different approach than older mechanical locks, since the usual wedge-and-rod method can damage window seals or trigger airbag sensors if handled carelessly. We also extract broken keys from ignitions and can cut a spare on the spot for most brands.
Good to know: breaking a window yourself is only worth it in a genuine emergency with a person or animal at risk โ professional entry is usually just as fast without the cost of a new window.
Full guide for this service โAfter an accident, we recover the vehicle safely and transport it to your chosen garage or insurance-approved repairer, with winching for vehicles that can't be driven or rolled. For minor accidents with no injuries, UAE police generally allow drivers to move the vehicle off the road and file a report through the Dubai Police or DubaiNow app rather than waiting at the scene โ leaving a car blocking traffic can itself carry a fine. We help move the vehicle safely to the roadside and coordinate with responding officers where required.
Good to know: for any accident with injury or a dispute between drivers, call the police first โ recovery can be dispatched at the same time so a truck is already on its way.
Full guide for this service โOur 4x4 teams carry winches and sand ladders, and the correct extraction order matters โ partially deflating tyres first to widen the contact patch, then laddering or winching, rather than gunning the engine and digging the vehicle in deeper. Not every visible hook on a 4x4 is rated for winch recovery either; some are only meant for light on-road towing, and using the wrong point under winch tension can bend or snap it, which is why our technicians confirm the manufacturer-rated recovery point before attaching anything.
Good to know: if you're stuck and unsure of your exact location, stay with the vehicle โ it's far easier for a recovery team to find than a person who has walked off looking for help.
Full guide for this service โInter-emirate towing โ Dubai to Abu Dhabi, Ajman to Sharjah, or any other combination โ is quoted as a single fixed price for the entire trip, with GPS tracking throughout and an enclosed-trailer option available for high-value vehicles. A non-running vehicle goes on a flatbed regardless of distance, since it never needs to move under its own power during transport, and the same insured operation covers the whole journey rather than handing the car between separate local operators at the emirate border.
Good to know: buying a car in one emirate and moving it to another is one of our most common long-distance jobs โ the seller's pickup and your delivery address are covered under one quote.
Full guide for this service โThe price ranges above vary for four real reasons โ none of which should ever surprise you after a truck is already dispatched.
Most operators โ us included โ charge a base fee plus a per-kilometre rate once you're past a certain radius, typically 20-30 km. A breakdown just outside the city costs a little more than one in the middle of it, and we say so on WhatsApp before dispatch.
AWD vehicles, EVs and low-clearance cars need flatbed transport, which costs more than a wheel-lift tow for a standard sedan โ not because we're marking it up, but because the equipment and truck are genuinely different.
Underground mall parking, gated communities requiring security check-in, or a vehicle stuck off a marked desert track all take longer and sometimes need specialised equipment, which is reflected honestly in the quote.
We don't charge more for nights, weekends or public holidays โ but plenty of operators do, so it's worth asking any company directly whether their quote changes after dark before you agree to it.
We have been recovering vehicles across Dubai since 2010, and our dispatch network now covers Abu Dhabi, Ajman & Sharjah too. Search for car recovery near me and you'll find us already close by โ recovery points positioned across every major area, not one central garage far from where you've broken down. Our certified team operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week โ including weekends and UAE public holidays. We reach most locations within 30 minutes.
One thing most drivers don't realise: calling an independent recovery company like ours instead of filing straight through your insurer's roadside assistance line means no claim is registered against your policy, so your no-claim bonus stays untouched โ insurers in the UAE don't legally have to provide roadside assistance at all, it's usually an optional add-on with a capped number of call-outs per year, so plenty of drivers keep it in reserve and call us directly for the routine breakdown.
Anyone can put "24/7 emergency recovery" on a website. What actually separates a recovery service from a directory listing is what happens after someone picks up the phone. Our teams have handled the routine โ flat tyres in mall parking lots โ and the genuinely difficult: multi-vehicle accident recoveries on Sheikh Zayed Road during rush hour, desert extractions after sandstorms reduced visibility to a few metres, and long-distance transport of accident-damaged vehicles that needed enclosed, insured handling from pickup to garage.
That experience shows up in small decisions most drivers never notice: knowing which entry point to use for a specific mall's basement parking, knowing certain government buildings require ID verification before a tow truck can enter, or knowing that a "quick jump-start" on an older vehicle sometimes means the alternator is failing, not the battery โ and telling the customer that honestly instead of charging for a part they don't need.
Tell us your location and what happened. We give you a fixed price upfront โ no surprises.
Our nearest recovery team is dispatched immediately. Average arrival time: 30 minutes across Dubai.
Your vehicle is recovered, repaired roadside, or towed to your chosen garage. You pay the agreed price.
RTA sets specific technical standards for any vehicle towing on Dubai's public roads: reflective markings required on all sides, flatbed dimensions kept within the driver's cabin width, and an operational permit that a company must hold before it can legally tow on public roads at all. Drivers must also hold an RTA-endorsed licence for the vehicle category they operate. Unlicensed, unmarked recovery vehicles do operate informally across the UAE, and using one leaves you with no recourse if your car is damaged during the tow โ there's no permit to trace, no insurer to claim against, and often no way to even confirm who actually showed up.
There's a second, less obvious decision worth knowing about before you're stranded: whether to call your car insurer or an independent recovery company directly. UAE insurers aren't legally required to include roadside assistance at all โ it's usually an optional add-on with a capped number of free call-outs per year, and always review that cap, the maximum towing distance, and the geographic coverage before assuming it applies to your situation. Calling an independent recovery service like ours for a routine breakdown means no claim is filed against your policy, so your no-claim bonus stays completely untouched โ which is exactly why plenty of UAE drivers keep their insurer's roadside cover in reserve for a genuinely major incident and call a recovery company directly for the everyday flat battery or tyre.
Two questions are worth asking before any truck arrives, from us or anyone else โ a legitimate operator answers both without hesitation:
A licensed operator confirms this immediately, without hesitation or vague reassurance.
The clearest signal of a transparent operator versus one planning to renegotiate once your car is already loaded.
Both can work โ the honest answer depends on your equipment, your vehicle, and how confident you are in doing it correctly.
Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman & Sharjah โ one dispatch network, one fixed price, 30-minute average response.
Dubai is where breakdowns happen at the worst possible density โ Sheikh Zayed Road during peak hour, the tight underground parking at Dubai Mall, or a dead battery in the Marina at 11pm on a Thursday. Our Dubai dispatch covers Downtown, Business Bay, Dubai Marina, JBR, Deira, Bur Dubai, Al Quoz, JLT, Dubai Hills, Palm Jumeirah, and every neighbourhood in between, with an average arrival time of 30 minutes. Our technicians work these routes daily โ the difference between a truck that's "in the area" and one that actually knows how to reach you fast.
Common call-outs: Common call-outs: dead battery in mall parking, flat tyre on Sheikh Zayed Road, lockouts at Downtown towers, accident recovery on Al Khail Road, desert recovery near Al Marmoom & Hatta.
Dubai also has its own access quirks worth knowing before you call: underground parking at towers like Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa has height and turning-radius limits that rule out certain trucks, gated villa communities such as Arabian Ranches and Emirates Hills need security check-in coordinated ahead of arrival, and older districts like Deira and Bur Dubai have narrow historic lanes where a truck sometimes parks at the nearest main road and finishes the approach on foot with equipment.
Abu Dhabi's scale changes what "fast recovery" means โ distances between neighbourhoods are longer, and a breakdown on the Abu DhabiโDubai highway or near Yas Island isn't the same job as one inside a dense city block. Our Abu Dhabi coverage spans the Corniche, Khalifa City, Al Reem Island, Yas Island, Mussafah, and the E11/E10 corridors connecting the capital to neighbouring emirates. Being the capital, Abu Dhabi also sees government, diplomatic and corporate fleet vehicles โ situations where discretion and clean, professional handling matter as much as the mechanical fix.
Common call-outs: Common call-outs: highway breakdowns on the E11 towards Dubai, tyre failures near Yas Island, fuel delivery on Mussafah industrial routes, battery failures in Corniche parking.
Khalifa City and Mohammed Bin Zayed City are large enough that two addresses sounding close on a map can be a genuine ten-minute drive apart internally, so our dispatch always confirms the specific numbered sector before estimating arrival. Mussafah's vast industrial sector grid works the same way โ a company name or sector number gets a technician there far faster than the district name alone.
Sharjah's traffic character is different again โ it's the connective tissue between Dubai and the Northern Emirates, which means our Sharjah dispatch spends a lot of time on King Faisal Road, Al Ittihad Road, and the corridors around Sharjah Airport and University City, alongside the dense residential zones of Al Nahda, Al Qasimia, and Al Majaz. A large share of our Sharjah call-outs come from drivers commuting between Sharjah and Dubai for work, so we prioritise highway breakdowns with the same 30-minute standard we apply inside the city.
Common call-outs: Common call-outs: breakdowns on Al Ittihad Road during commute hours, lockouts in Al Nahda buildings, battery jump-starts near University City, towing to Sharjah Industrial Area garages.
Sharjah shares its Al Nahda district name with a separate district in Dubai just across the emirate line, and confirming which side a caller means isn't a formality โ it's the difference between a truck arriving on time and being dispatched to the wrong emirate entirely. The same double-check applies to Al Mamzar, which exists on both the Sharjah and Dubai sides of the same stretch of coast.
Ajman is the smallest of the four emirates by area, but it isn't a lesser priority โ it means we can often move faster here, not slower. Our Ajman coverage includes Ajman Corniche, Al Nuaimiya, Al Rashidiya, and the connecting stretches toward Sharjah along Emirates Road. Because Ajman drivers frequently travel into Sharjah and Dubai daily, we treat Ajman recovery as part of the same connected network โ a car towed from Ajman can go directly to a garage in Sharjah or Dubai on the same trip, under the same fixed quote, with no second company and no second invoice.
Common call-outs: Common call-outs: battery issues in older Al Nuaimiya buildings, tyre changes along Emirates Road, cross-emirate towing to Sharjah/Dubai, fuel delivery near Ajman Corniche.
Several Ajman districts sit right on the Sharjah border โ Emirates City and Al Bustan among them โ so confirming the specific building name and emirate side avoids a wasted cross-border dispatch. We even cover Masfout, Ajman's mountain exclave roughly 110 km from the city near Hatta, where recovery means mountain-road travel rather than standard city driving.
The heat problem is bigger than most people realise. UAE summer temperatures regularly exceed 45ยฐC, with a parked car's interior climbing past 70ยฐC in direct sun. That heat roughly halves battery life โ where a battery might last 4โ5 years elsewhere, UAE conditions typically bring that down to 18โ30 months. A meaningful share of summer breakdowns across the UAE trace back to heat-related battery, overheating or tyre issues, which is exactly why a load test โ not just a jump start โ matters here more than in cooler markets.

"My car broke down on SZR at midnight. These guys arrived in 25 minutes flat. Professional, friendly, fair price. Will definitely call again if needed."
"Flat battery near Yas Island during a work trip from Dubai. They tested it, told me honestly it needed replacing soon, no pressure to buy on the spot. Very fair."
"Broke down on Al Ittihad Road during the morning commute โ one of the worst places to be stuck. They understood the urgency and got me off the road safely and fast."
"Needed my car towed from Ajman to a specific garage in Sharjah after a suspension issue. One quote for the whole trip, no surprise charge when it arrived โ exactly what was promised on WhatsApp."
Situation: A driver's vehicle suffered a suspension failure on Emirates Road near Ajman, with the nearest trusted garage located in Sharjah Industrial Area โ a routine scenario for commuters living in Ajman and working across emirate lines.
Why it mattered: A single dispatch handled a cross-emirate job end-to-end โ no second company, no renegotiated price at the destination, no delay from handing the vehicle between separate local operators.
Situation: A driver's three-year-old sedan wouldn't start after two hours in a shaded basement level at Dubai Mall on a 44ยฐC August afternoon โ the classic UAE pattern of a car left idling with air conditioning running while waiting for passengers, followed by a battery that simply couldn't hold the load once the engine was switched off.
Why it mattered: A jump start alone would have gotten the driver moving that afternoon and stranded again within days. The load test โ the same two-minute check included on every battery call โ turned a repeat breakdown into a one-visit fix.
Searching for a company while stressed and stranded often means picking the first result rather than a properly licensed operator โ save a trusted number in advance.
A building name, parking level, or shared GPS pin cuts real minutes off response time compared to a general area description figured out mid-call.
In UAE heat, a battery that's already struggled once is rarely a coincidence โ get it load tested rather than jump-starting repeatedly through the season.
Checking your handbook or the badge on the boot lid in advance means the right truck โ flatbed or wheel-lift โ gets sent the first time, not the second.
A transparent operator answers this immediately; hesitation on that question is usually the clearest early warning sign of a surprise fee later.
Lockouts and towing to a dealership or tester centre sometimes require proof of registration on the spot โ knowing where it is saves a delay at the worst time.
Transparent car recovery across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We quote on WhatsApp before dispatch โ what we say is what you pay.
Price confirmed on WhatsApp before any truck is dispatched. No hidden charges.
A few terms come up on almost every call โ knowing them in advance means a faster, more accurate conversation with your dispatcher.
